Appointments are priced by session length. Brazilian treatments include an additional $20 per session.
Payment: Cash or check preferred. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required; the full session fee applies to late cancellations.
IPL pricing is determined during your personal consultation.

After graduating from the Electrology Institute of New England, Shay founded Evanesce Hair Removal to offer clients a calm, professional, and results-driven experience.

Electrolysis is not pain free, different areas can be more sensitive than others. Though most people find it very tolerable, there are many different ways to help you through your sessions and topical numbing creams can help a game changer.

You will need multiple sessions over an average of 18-24 months. Hair grows in cycles and we can only treat was is visible at each session. It is not a one and done nor is it a process that can be rushed. If you are thinking about electrolysis, patients and trust in the process is a necessity.

Yes, it is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal. It completely destroys the hair root, the blood supply and all influencing growth cells so it will eventually never return.

Electrolysis treats individual hairs, one by one, and works on all skin types and hair colors. Laser is great for larger areas or specific areas discussed in consultation. Laser is ideal for darker hair and does not work well on blonde, red or gray hair.

You may experience temporary redness and/or some slight swelling. These minor irritations usually fade within 24 hours but it is very important to update your practitioner and ask questions in the beginning. Communication is key!
